Our cacao comes directly from the Maleku lineage of Guanacaste, Costa Rica — families who have tended their land with patience, reverence, and generational knowledge passed down through their ancestry. Chocadelic was founded by Edward Thomas Lawson Jr. “Teddy” , a Canadian with Native lineage who found himself called toward the healing traditions of Costa Rica. What began as his personal healing path naturally evolved into a collaborative mission with the families who grow this cacao, the ones who believed in Teddy's mission and the communities who hold this wisdom.
